MANKATO A group of 35 Minnesota State Mankato Civil Engineering seniors will present three feasibility study results on development proposals for the City of New Ulm, Tuesday.
The three projects include New Ulm Airport Industrial Park development; Wech Development/Wallner Mine Site redevelopment; and Flandrau/Schell’s Brewery trail.
The students will present the results as part of a town hall meeting using Zoom started at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 20. The public is invited to attend and provide input.
New Ulm Airport Industrial Park Development
The first project is the New Ulm Airport Industrial Park development. The city has an ongoing interest in expanding in the region with industrial businesses. Through the New Ulm Airport Industrial Park Development project, the goal is to help the economic growth of the city by providing an area of expansion for new enterprises, support of local development, and job opportunities within the community.
