that s what s really most disturbing to me about this language, that it s not sort of crazy by american standards, the sexism. it s actually quite commonplace what he is saying. what do you mean by that? i mean what he is saying that men are entitled to sex with women, that women are sluts and whores, this is stuff that we hear every day. this is stuff we hear online. this is stuff we hear in the streets. it s not unusual for young men to say these kinds of things. yet he is being painted as crazy for saying them. yeah, and we should note here, i don t want to i don t want to sort of cordon off what he did. of course. and obviously the horror of that and the distinct psychological issues he was dealing with. this is not to say some website writer is responsible. just so that is clear. absolutely. but yes, the articulation there, and it manifests itself in this sort of violence, this very charged violence rhetoric i ve seen when friends of mine have shown me their inboxe
