Faced with addressing the needs of businesses adopting the new normal of a hybrid workforce with markedly different technical and cultural demands, Cisco has announced a range of actions to provide smart and seamless collaboration in the new environment with an updated Webex slate and an intention to buy audience interaction company Slido.

On December 8, Cisco announced a wave of Webex innovation to help organizations collaborate seamlessly and transform their employee and customer experiences at WebexOne. WebexOne is Cisco’s premier digital collaboration conference that brings together thought leaders, customers, and partners to discuss the future of work.
The ongoing pandemic added to the factors that contributed to the many innovations and collaborations that will make work and play seamless and change the landscape of workforce in the future.
“More and more, the line between work and play have become more blurred into a complex life experience,” said Karrie Ilagan, Managing Director for Cisco Philippines. “What we’ve created is a tool that simplifies that complexity and provides a platform where everyone can experience life as seamlessly and safely as possible.”
