OTTAWA COUNTY, MI A lawsuit seeking damages for injuries that happened when an Ottawa County Parks deck collapsed has been reinstated by the Michigan Court of Appeals.
In an opinion issued Thursday, Dec. 17, an Appeals Court panel said an Ottawa County judge wrongly dismissed two lawsuits in 2019.
The type of lumber should not have been used in an outdoor setting and showed significant rot in some areas.
