Weatherly Borough Council on Monday approved a police contract that gives officers a 7% raise and other benefits.
Police officer hourly wages will go to $33.17, and the sergeant’s hourly rate will inc.
At their Dec. 28 meeting, Weatherly Borough Council members changed course on financing the borough budget, voting 4-3 to adopt the budget originally presented that raises the property tax rate by 4 m.
