Although Earth Day is celebrated annually on April 22, saving the environment requires commitments year round. Now the National Children’s Museum in Washington offers free online programs to inspire even the youngest activists.

With retail spaces across New York sitting empty due to pandemic-related business closures, the local non-profit EcoArt Project has announced a new initiative to fill these vacant storefronts with free popup exhibitions focusing on climate change and sustainability. Working with another New York non-profit, Chashama, to find the spaces, EcoArt Project launched the programme Rebound-NYC on 25 March with a solo show of works by Alex Nero near Bryant Park. The next, larger iteration runs from 15-27 April (coinciding with Earth Day on 22 April) near Union Square and will be the first group exhibition with work by five artists Cicely Carew, Sam Nester, Hara Woltz, Stephen Mallon, and Peter Gerakaris all centred on issues of environmentalism and climate change.
LARKANA: Three anthologies of poetry in Sindhi were launched in three separate and consecutive sessions here on Sunday and Monday evenings under the aegis of literature department of Arts Council of Pakistan Larkana.
The books included Andar jee mosam (The Weather Within) by prominent and septuagenarian poet Dr Bashir Ahmed Shaad, Kayla (Thought) by Said Pirzado and Judaea jay jazeeray tey (At the Island of Separation).
The sessions were presided over by poet and Additional Commissioner-I Larkana Ahmed Sultan Khoso, famous poet Jawad Jaferi and Mohammad Ali Pathan.
