A fresh Western Disturbance is all set to approach the Western Himalayan region by either late night of February 14 or morning hours of February 15. This system in particular will not be very strong and will stay for at least three days.
Another fresh Western disturbance will reach Western Himalayas from night of February 16. This Western disturbance will be of moderate intensity and maybe capable of giving moderate snowfall across Western Himalayas between February 17 and 19.
After the passage of the system, there is a possibility of avalanches in the higher reaches as temperatures will rise and there may be some incident here or there. Around February 15, another system is expected to be seen making an appearance over the Hills.
Fresh spell of snowfall is expected across the northern mountains. Rain and thundershowers are likely over low and mid reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Weather activity will last for about 3 days and recede thereafter, albeit briefly.
In fact, a fresh Western Disturbance is coming up for the hills tomorrow, which is expected to be fairly active. This system is expected to affect the entire hilly regions including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh and Uttarakhand.
