Telangana: Heat continues to be the main trigger for raising the severity of the weather. State capital Hyderabad and some other locations like Medak, Vikarabad and Ramgundam are more vulnerable to hailstorms between the 25th and 27th of April.
The rising trend of the mercury over the state will be checked with this wet spell. Temperatures are unlikely to reach or exceed 40degree over the next 3-4days. Dry weather conditions are expected over the state, following this spell and stay good for the subsequent one week.
Rains will be seen today and last until March 19. Moreover, Hyderabad has not seen any rains in the last one month. Heavy rains are expected on March 18, other than that moderate rains may be observed.
Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are not considered sensitive weather pockets around 1st half of March. The upcoming weather activity may go in record as aberration from the normal.
A fresh low pressure area is likely to form over Southeast Bay of Bengal in the next 24hr. The weather system will reach Southwest BoB, off Sri Lanka coast on 17th Dec. Under the combined influence of an easterly wave and the low pressure area, next round of rains will commence from 18th Dec, to start with Chennai and Bengaluru and go beyond 22nd Dec.
