oh my gosh. this is crazy. they kept going. finally after about two minutes we went to a commercial break. the out of control graphics are the result of a computer malfunction. i was the weather anchor and also the news anchor. right before the show started the weather computer completely crashed. i had to run back and reload everything. that s when the graphics started popping up on the screen. and the laughing? well, that s an understandable human error. they swear it s nothing to do with the incident, but tommy and justine both leave the station shortly after that blooper-filled morning. justine goes to michigan to study for a master s degree. and tommy heads to dallas to be a reporter at cw 33. not surprisingly he s no longer in charge of the weather. coming up, a park ranger is caught in a rare earthquake. i felt very, very, very terrified. very scared thinking that i may not get out of the building.
perhaps of possibly seeing several inches, especially moving out of the columbus area and moving a little further to the east. if we could switch it over to the other weather computer, that would help. i can show you some of the snowfall totals that we re actually going to see. as far as interior new england is concerned, we re looking at about perhaps up to a foot of snow. this is your watch and warning map. you can see most of the warnings now expiring through the midwest and now extending up into the northeast. we are going to see the chance, perhaps, in portland, maine, up to around 12 to 16 inches of snow. that s where we re not going to see much of a changeover. but in new york city, about 3 to 6 inches. but by 8:00 tomorrow morning, it s over. it s done. after a changeover to rain a little after midnight. we are going to see this thing ramp up later on this evening and then it all winds down pretty quickly overnight. and to nordstrom she goes. off right now. thank you so m
first ski resorts to open and montana will get snow in the higher elevations. big buzz this morning, new information has come in from the european weather computer. remember back to hurricane sandy, two big weather computers, one in the united states and one in europe that gives us long-range forecasts and this one is hinting at a long duration, large wave and gusty wind event on the east coast of the united states. possibly starting thursday night or friday morning. what s interesting is that the european computer unlike our american computer actually brings this storm closer to the coast as we go through the weekend and brings it right along the jersey shore by sunday into monday. so that s a part of this country that doesn t need a large beach erosion event. it could be the first significant storm in the east coast in a while. not talking a hurricane, more of like a nor easter-type storm. heavy rain in tampa today. if we re going to have airport problems it will be in central florid

welcome into the mix, everybody. when you work in television, especially live television, you know that when things go wrong, and they do, it literally sucks. oh, yeah. there s few things that you can really control when you lose things like graphics or pictures or, let s say, a weather computer if you happen to be this poor weather anchor who lost his entire weather computer. it crashed right before they went on the air. but he s a genius in my eyes because check out what he did. so i made these this morning very fast so please be patient with me. my art skills are not the best. here s a little snippet of that seven-day forecast that s coming up in just a little bit. we can ignore the fact that he misspelled yesterday but you got to love the fact that he not only did more than one graphic,
