Connecticut residents can expect a hot, sunny weekend as weather forecasts predict high temperatures rolling in over the next few days.
After patches of fog clear Saturday morning, the National Weather Service reports most areas inland will experience temperatures in the mid to high 80s over the weekend.
Bridgeport and Danbury will teeter between 87 and 88 degrees, as will many other towns throughout the state, The New London area, along with other shoreline towns, is expected to be slightly cooler at about 79 degrees, according to the service.
