social issue. that to me is a conservative position. and i don t think we should be going after and punishing businesses. just very quickly. one final question. if you were president today, would you have signed that deal, legislation the that president biden signed? well, of course, i would have negotiated a better deal, and if i was president, we would make sure we protected our military. but this is an area that we had to have some constraints on spending. i applaud speaker mccarthy. i think they did a good job. you always want more but that s why we have a 2024 election. to get this back on track. so this is a start to a long process to get us there. you would have signed it to avoid a default, is my question. sure. we shouldn t default. certainly if that would have been presented to me, i would have signed that because it had some constraints on spending, which we have to get under control.
