iowa and new hampshire. i know people say it s always been this way. let s not make too much out of it. but black people have been the backbone of the democratic party for a long time. and the democratic party is becoming unrepresented if we don t reach out and try to incorporate those people s views who have been such an important part of the party, integral. do you see it as an issue of process, that it s working against those candidates of color? first of all, julian castro s campaign announced late yesterday, he has qualified for the december debate. he saw an uptic of donation. only the donation, not the polling. they have to qualify both. he and booker have qualified. they re not close when it comes to the polling. they need at least four of them between now and december 12th. right. so let s a couple things.
they do vote in the next election. what do you make of this? and how do republicans capitalize on the fact that evan likes the tax cuts, at the same time, a lot of people who are benefiting are democrats? well, two things. republicans, conservatives, independents, we have to do a better job of reaching outs to young people. in the past we have failed. we don t reach out, we don t go to college campuses. we don t speak to these young people and we need to do a better job of getting our message across. we tell horrible stories. the left is excellent at messaging and we are not so great. that s what i have really dedicated my career to is reaching the young people. we need to do a better job. second of all do not under estimate the whisper voter young communities as well afraid to say they support this president. afraid to say they are conservative. they are and they are probably going to vote conservative as well. let s wait and see. i didn t trust polls in the 2016 election and look w
