As a high-level meeting is being held today with all the States/UT education ministers, education secretaries and chairpersons of state examination boards and stakeholders to discuss the proposals for the conduct of examinations for Class 12 and entrance examinations for professional courses, Twitter was flooded with requests to cancel board exams.
The tweets were done with the hashtag #cancelboardexams.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday announced that his annual interaction with students, Pariksha Pe Charcha , will be held on April 7 in a new virtual format. A new format, several interesting questions on a wide range of subjects and a memorable discussion with our brave #ExamWarriors, parents and teachers. Watch Pariksha Pe Charcha at 7 pm on 7th April, the prime minister tweeted.
The application for the exam must be done online only. No printed application form is available.
Candidates will have to provide a mobile number and a unique email ID. All future communications will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.
Once the registration details i.e., name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, domicile, and date of birth are entered and submitted. This information cannot be changed/ modified/ edited under any circumstances.
Upload scanned copy of photograph and signature as per the instructions provided. If any candidate received any SMS/ email regarding a discrepancy in photograph/ signature, he/she must take corrective action immediately within one day.
