PORTLAND A crash closed Interstate 205 southbound Monday afternoon in Northeast Portland, causing traffic to back up to the Glenn Jackson Bridge across the Columbia River.
Footage showed a car on fire shortly before 3 p.m.
About 3:40 p.m., a Waze Twitter account for Portland traffic times said drivers on southbound I-205 in Portland could expect a 53 minute longer than usual wait.
Portland police said the crash, which occurred between the Northeast Killingsworth Street/Columbia Boulevard exit and the Northeast Prescott Street overpass, is currently under investigation.
No fatalities were reported.
