well attended by families, with young kids every year. that s what a fourth of july parade should. be the local high school marching band was performing when the shooting began. absent night seven people have died after being shot at the parade. 47 people were wounded. the victims range in age from 88 years old to eight years old. the alleged shooter is 21 years old. he is currently in custody. authorities say they believe he s been planning the attack for weeks. all in all, he fired more than 70 rounds from an ar style weapon. that he purchased legally in the state of illinois. this could be a tape, by the, way because that s what i always say. that someone bought one of these ar style weapons. but the thing about this particular type of weapon is that while it was purchased legally in this state, it was technically illegal to carry that kind of semi automatic weapon inside the city of highland park, where this massacre took place. because in 2013, the city of highland park
