BOYNTON BEACH A man armed with a knife and a hammer was shot dead by officers responding to a report of a violent domestic disturbance, according to Boynton Beach police. It happened just after 10 p.m. Tuesday at the gated Via Lugano apartment community, located at 1400 Via Lugano Circle, just west of North Congress Avenue.
