The 25-year-old qualified for the team event in women s saber. Russo is a four-time state champion for Wayne Valley High School, a two-time national champion for Notre Dame, and a junior world champion. The women s saber team also features another Jersey girl - Avenel s Dagmara Wozniak. She helped Team USA capture bronze in the team event five years ago.
