Scranton City Hall is closed today .
The Department of Public Works is also suspending refuse and recycling curbside pickups today. Residents whose garbage and recycling are usually picked up on Thursdays should place those items at the curb on Friday. Friday scheduled pickups will be rescheduled for Saturday, according to the city.
COLTS
The County of Lackawanna Transit System is closed today with no Fixed Route or Shared Ride service. COLTS will start its Fixed Route buses on snow routes at 7 a.m. Friday.
Lackawanna County
The Lackawanna County Government Center and the Lackawanna County Courthouse will be allowing all nonessential employees to leave today at 2 p.m. due to the impending snow storm, and they can finish-up the day at remotely.
