Yeah we all watched the heats. (Well, many of us at least.) We know who won, we know how they did it, and we know where they’ve gone to the West, to face a totally different game.
But what happens in the water around a CT at a place like North Narrabeen? A lot of people surf brilliantly, jersey or no jersey, pro or local. It’s the event beyond the event. We asked photographer Simon Williams to record what he could of it all. Here’s some of that record, along with a few of Swilly’s thoughts:
