th Annual Niagara County Pro-Am Salmon Team Tournament is ready to be held out of Wilson and Olcott June 4 and 5 for both professional and amateur teams. For the pros, it is the first 12 tournament-legal fish to weigh in each day with scoring based on 10 points per fish and a point per pound. For the Amateur Division, 5 tournament legal fish may be brought to the scales at Krull Park in Olcott each day. Teams can register up to May 31 without a late fee. Joseph Reed was appointed to serve as a park commissioner for the Wayne County Park District by Probate and Juvenile Court Judge Latecia Wiles. Reed replaces Joel Berry, who retired after 11 years of service on the board.
Reed is an associate attorney with the Kropf Wagner Law Firm in Orrville. He is a 2012 graduate of The Ohio State University and Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law.
He resides in Smithville with his wife, Julie.
“I am looking forward to serving on the board and using my expertise and passion to provide the citizens of Wayne County with greater opportunities to learn about and appreciate our county’s natural resources and beauty,” Reed said.
