Fairfield Community High School is wrapping up its school year and will hold its Senior Awards Day this Thursday morning at 8:30 in its main gymnasium. Assistant Principal Bobby Wells says the event is open to families and the public this year as pandemic restrictions have lessened; anyone wanting to attend should enter through the gym lobby doors. The U.S. Supreme Court appears poised to strike down Roe v. Wade, according to a leak of a draft opinion obtained by Politico. The court has declined to verify or disavow the document, and until an official opinion is signed or released by the court, Roe v. Wade remains the law of the land. State Representative Adam Niemerg says overturning Roe v. Wade is a positive step, but the state still has a lot of work to do. Governor J.B.
