A renter ticked off over junk mail took a real estate agency to court for trespassing in his letterbox.
In a claim filed in the NSW District Court, Sydney resident Mark Eldridge sought an order that Harcourts West Ryde ceased placing unsolicited material in letterboxes .
He claimed the agency ignored the no junk mail sticker he d affixed to his letterbox in Dundas in 2018.
Come 2020, he began requesting the agency stop delivering material to all letterboxes marked no junk mail.
When that didn t work, he sent a cease and desist letter and stated any further incursions onto his letterbox would be considered trespass.
“She had to be forcibly moved from the vehicle and carried to the police van.” Mr Ace said the officers found ecstasy and cannabis with a street value of more than £1,000 when they searched Singh’s Clio. He added: “The defendant later refused to get out of the police vehicle and had to be carried into custody. “She was being abusive and swearing at officers calling them Nazis and racists.” The court heard how Singh’s mobile phone was analysed by detectives and drug-related messages found discussing the trade of “Mandy”, another name for ecstasy. The defendant had also sent out text bombs to 29 recipients offering cannabis for sale.

“At one stage, three or four men were punching a single man on the floor.” “Mr Parfitt was ejected by door staff and started to pick on someone outside.” Cardiff Crown Court heard how William Carpenter was assaulted by the pair after Cromie was also thrown out of the pub. Their victim was kicked and punched. Mr Evans added: “Mr Parfitt was found unconscious outside when the police arrived. “He had been hit with considerable force and was seen flying through the air.” Parfitt, 24, of Elgam Avenue, Blaenavon, pleaded guilty to affray and assault by beating. Cromie, 25, of Gelli Rhwy Road, Garndiffaith, Pontypool, also admitted affray and assault by beating.
