before everything happened was a celebration. this is a huge event in the city of waukesha. folks were i was really impressed by the turnout and people came together to celebrate but when i saw the vehicle speed and when i heard that loud bang still a bit shaken. a lot of uncertainty. a lot of fear. a lot of scaredness for me and my family when this was all occurring. when you saw the vehicle, can you describe any more about what you saw and i know it happened really fast and you re probably thinking about your safety and your family s safety but what did you observe with the vehicle? so i really just got a quick
thud of people being struck and police on the scene tell her as many as 30 were injured but again, we heard actually from the police chief himself, he said more than 20 people were injured from this horrific incident there in waukesha, wisconsin. we just got this statement from the governor. kathy and i are praying for waukesha tonight and kids, family and community members affected by this senseless act. i m grateful for the first responder and folks that acted quickly to help and we re in contact with local partners as we await more information. and we also have this tweet from wisconsin senator tammy baldwin. the horrific violence of the waukesha parade is heartbreaking. please keep the victims in your prayers tonight. joining me to discuss, national security analyst and assistant secretary of homeland security, also with me former acting baltimore police commissioner an on this though barksdale.
