BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Birmingham police are investigating circumstances that lead to a collision Friday morning in the Pratt City area.
Police responded to a vehicle crashing into a home in the 1000 block of 4th Way Pratt at approximately 5:20 a.m. Arriving officers found the driver of the vehicle unresponsive. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Birmingham Police confirmed a juvenile male was shot Tuesday and has life-threatening injuries.
The shooting happened just before 4:30 p.m. near 3rd Way Pratt and Avenue W.
The 911 Communication Division received a call of multiple shots fired in the area. Officers arrived on the scene and found the boy was shot and had life-threatening injuries.
He was taken to Children’s Hospital of Alabama by Birmingham Fire and Rescue.
