Following its cancellation due to the Covid shutdown in 2020, Disaster! - A 70s Disaster Disco Musical - will finally take to the Frederick stage beginning June 25th.

As of last week, live music and theater venues in Baltimore are permitted to open with their audiences at 25% after months of being closed, even as the state allowed performance venues to open in September.
Still, many Baltimore theaters are not planning to resume live performances any time soon. Two flagship professional theaters in the area, Everyman Theatre and Baltimore Center Stage, the state theater of Maryland, are planning to continue with virtual productions for the time being.

Coming this spring, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will lovely skewer musical theatre, stage mothers, and ambitious child stars in its production of Ruthless! The Musical. As previously announced by the theatre s producers, due to current health and safety protocols in place limiting cast sizes, Ruthless! The Musical has taken the place of Oliver!, which had originally been announced for the 2021 Season.
