While grocery stores and retailers have been left to decide for themselves if they want to keep mask requirements or not, they may not have to worry much longer.
Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow initiated the process to end the State of Emergency related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The ordinance to end the State of Emergency will be considered by the Waukesha County Board of Supervisors at the Tuesday, June 22 meeting, according to a news release.

A longtime member of the Christmas Clearing Council of Waukesha County Board of Directors, she also has volunteered for the Waukesha County Community Dental Clinic and WomenConnected.
• Lori Lorenz of Okauchee, executive vice president, chief administrative officer at American Transmission Co., responsible for human resources, safety, facilities and corporate communications. An active community volunteer, she serves on the Roger s Memorial Hospital Foundation board, Waukesha County Business Alliance Board, and the UW-Madison Center for Professional and Executive Development Advisory Board.
Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County CEO leaving for new nonprofit role

Michael Crowley, the chief executive officer of
Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County, has stepped down from his role to take a position with the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin.
The organization said Crowley’s last day is Jan. 15.
Sara Clark, director of operations Habitat Waukesha, has been named acting CEO.
“I’m honored and excited for the opportunity to help Habitat Waukesha become a household name in the community,” Clark said. “As a homeowner myself, I understand the urgent need for affordable housing in Waukesha County.”
