WAUKESHA, WI It seems impossible, but Memorial Day weekend is only less than a week away, meaning it s time to mark the unofficial start of summer in Waukesha with small gatherings, family barbecues and annual camping trips.
If camping is on your agenda, you ll want to make those reservations at your favorite state park or local campground soon.
While it might be too late to snag your choice spot, there are still plenty of spots available at these nearby parks and campgrounds:
Waukesha County Parks to open swim at your own risk beaches Memorial Day weekend
Swimming will be allowed at six beach locations.
Lifeguard on duty hours will begin with staggered starts in June at Fox Brook and Menomonee Parks.
