The Yukon government is confirming seven new cases of COVID-19, all in unconfirmed locations.
This brings the territory s active case count to 72.
The territorial government announced the cases in a news release late Thursday afternoon, saying they were confirmed between from noon on Wednesday to the same time on Thursday.
This brings the total number of cases in Yukon since the beginning of the pandemic to 542, with 474 of them confirmed since June 1.

Yukon public health officials have been informed of cases of COVID-19 transmitted at Coeur Mining’s Silvertip mine in northern B.C.
All Yukon and Lower Post, B.C. workers who were at the mine are being individually notified either by the company, their employer or by Yukon Communicable Disease Control.
“As a precaution, anyone working at the mine who has left the mine site within the previous two weeks (dating from last Saturday) should self-isolate until 14 days following their departure from the mine,” officials said in a statement.
“In addition, anyone who has been at the mine site during the period from February 17 to the present should carefully self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.
