Judy Kane January 22, 2021 The history here is sad. An ill-planned crosswalk across a curve, no less, on Camp Arrowhead Road. Years ago a plan to straighten out the road didn’t go anywhere. Lots of accidents; at least two fatalities. More developments - one a shared-amenity community. Much outcry. A DelDOT decision last August to remove the crosswalk, placed only to accommodate a shared-amenity community. Then a DelDOT reversal made just a few months ago. So the people who will remain in the area long after the developer leaves stay to see an unsafe road become even more unsafe. The last 20 years in a nutshell.
