The first of five talks on the precarious state of our lakes and rivers will be held virtually this week.
The Greater Sudbury Watershed Alliance is hosting an online forum titled Troubled Waters, featuring presentations by five internationally recognized water quality experts.

“The focus of the webinars will be on the impact of climate change on our water resources, affecting local drinking water supplies and the aquatic ecosystem,” the organizer said.
John Gunn, director of the Living with Lakes Centre at Laurentian University, will kick off the lecture series this week with “a look forward in time, examining the possible future of our most precious resource and the effects on our communities,” the alliance said.
