Vintage 471 Restaurant in Oakville celebrated their one-year anniversary with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The restaurant opened in 2020 the same week of statewide shutdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Rubano family is excited to officially celebrate their opening with the community.
Pictured taking part in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony are: State Senator Eric Berthel (R-32), State Representative Joe Polletta (R-68), Vintage 471 Owners Mandie and John Rubano, their son Nick, Watertown Oakville Chamber of Commerce Board Member Lori DosSantos and Waterbury Regional Chamber President & CEO Lynn Ward.

One of the Waterbury Regional Chamber’s most-anticipated annual events has become our mayoral luncheon, during which the mayor traditionally gives his State of the City address. The mayoral luncheon was the last event our chamber held in 2020 before life as we knew it changed drastically.
In what seems like the blink of an eye, an entire year has passed since that time, and we’re preparing once again to share Mayor Neil O’Leary’s State of the City address with our members and guests. The event looks very different this year, of course, and the speech will be delivered virtually through partnership with our chamber member PowerStation Events.
