out. but if you are on the window then you are kind of blocked to get to the aisle. if you are athletic enough just climb across the seats. in my military training we did under water training they dunk us in what was supposedly a crash plane and we had to figure out how to get out. it was very disorienting. this plane should have slid off in the water. what should people know if it ends up in a water situation. water situation could be difficult but hopefully the plane will float. usually that s what happens when you hit the water gently that would be the time to get out. planes floated and passengers went out on the wing. you have to do whatever you can to get your head above water and head toward higher ground and get out of the plane. when they taught us you want to have your reference points have a good situation ago awareness of what s around you
tomorrow. let s talk about the risk. clearly the people up there are probably some of the smartest people on the planet or in orbit as the case may be. but is enough done to protect their safety? i don t think anybody realizes just how seriously we take it and years and years of preparation that goes into it. i spent hundreds and hundreds of hours, weeks and weeks under water training for my space walks. and practicing everything to fine detail. we ve had people in the pool down in houston evaluating these procedures. the most expert people we have. the two people who did this last time a few years ago, they ll be there helping to talk the crew through it. we really take our business seriously. i m confident we ll be doing the right thing just purely as a result of all that work. and just so i know. where did they get this?
