SUNRISE, Fla. â Still reeling from the fatal shooting of two FBI agents in South Florida, the nationâs tight-knit law enforcement community was examining evidence at the scene Wednesday to understand how the execution of a search warrant in an online child exploitation case turned into a deadly gunfight.
His ex-wife could not be reached for comment Wednesday.
He was a computer consulting professional at one point, opening a business called Computer Troubleshooters in May 2004, according to corporate transparency database Open Corporate. The address for the business was listed in Pembroke Pines, about 13 miles south of the Sunrise residence where the shooting took place Tuesday.
Huber was also briefly a pilot, as he registered with the Federal Aviation Administration to fly commercial aircraft in May 1994.
He has no detectable social media presence.
A law enforcement official told Fox News that Huber monitored law enforcement officials as they approached his home around 6:00 a.m. ET Tuesday, then open fire on them through an unopened door.

Sunrise FBI tragedy: Funeral arrangements being made for agents

SUNRISE, Fla. – Funeral arrangements are being made for the two FBI agents who were fatally shot serving a search warrant at a Sunrise apartment complex Tuesday.
Special Agents Laura Schwartzenberger, 43, and Daniel Alfin, 36, are being remembered as heroes who battled crimes against children in South Florida.
Schwartzenberger’s body is now at the Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pompano Beach. Alfin’s body is at Fred Hunter’s in Hollywood.
No date has been set for their funerals.

Two agents who suffered multiple gunshot wounds have been released from the hospital. A third injured agent was treated at the scene Tuesday. None of the three have been identified by the FBI.
