Two FBI agents have been killed and three others wounded during a shootout in Florida while serving a search warrant, according to the FBI.
The gunfire began around 06:00 local time (11:00 GMT) in the city of Sunrise as agents were investigating a violent crimes against children case .
The suspect was also killed. Asked how many bullets were fired, a police official replied: Too many to count.
The gunfight took place at an upscale gated community north of Miami.
The FBI said two of the agents had been transported to hospital and were in a stable condition. The third injured agent did not require hospital.

Five FBI agents were shot while serving a search warrant as part of a violent crimes against children case in Sunrise, Florida, on Tuesday (February 2) morning. Agents arrived at the Water Terrace apartment complex around 6 a.m., and the suspect barricaded himself inside his home.
During the standoff, the suspect opened fire on the agents. Two of the agents were killed, and the other three were wounded. Two of the injured agents were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition. Officials did not provide information about the condition of the third agent who was shot.

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) At least two FBI agents were killed and three others wounded while serving a warrant in a child exploitation case in South Florida, authorities said.
The suspect is deceased, the FBI said in a statement. Earlier, the suspect appeared to be contained inside a unit of an apartment complex, surrounded by law enforcement.
FBI Director Christopher A. Wray later identified the bureau employees killed as FBI Special Agent Daniel Alfin and Special Agent Laura Schwartzenberger. He said two other agents were shot and wounded but were in stable condition, while a third injured agent did not require hospitalization.
