Their son Fred Feldman, born during their flight from the Nazis, has published a book on his parents journey called The Story Keeper: Weaving the Threads of Time and Memory. Parkinson s has limited Kowal s mobility significantly, but it hasn t stopped her from climbing mountains, going on African safaris, boxing and much more over the years.
