Water Safety Statement extended to April 7th, now includes portion of Haliburton SHARE ON: file image Ontario’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has extended the Water Safety Watershed Conditions Statement in Parry Sound for another week.  Now in effect until Wednesday next week, the statement includes the District Municipality of Muskoka, the Territorial District of Parry Sound and, added recently, a north-west portion in the County of Haliburton. The Ministry said the recent increases in water levels and flow conditions are anticipated to remain over the next week as the snowpack continues to melt and the water moves through the system.
