a water ride at the universal studios resort in orlando, florida, is closed indefinitely after a fire. investigators are still trying to determine what caused that fire. people in the south and midwest are still recovering from deadly tornadoes that touched down in several states on new year s eve. four people were killed in missouri and three died in arkansas. state officials in missouri say at least 50 homes were destroyed, nearly 300 others damaged. three separate tornadoes also ripped through central mississippi causing heavy damage. and new york sanitation crews are resuming garbage pick-up today. this is the first time since the blizzard last week dumped all of that snow nearly 2 feet of snow in the big apple. and city officials focused on snow removal, uncollected garbage lining the street. islands of adventure is a universals studio theme park.
