Drawing on the history of old Bangkok

Exploring Rattanakosin Island and other old parts of the capital is increasingly popular among Bangkokians. With so many elegant temples and heritage buildings, these areas offer tons of photo opportunities. But instead of using a camera or a smartphone, how about recording your wonderful experience on paper with pencils and paintbrushes?
If this sounds like a good idea to you, this Saturday you re invited to join the Doen Len Sen Si walking tour which will start from Wat Sa Ket, the temple where the Golden Mount is located, at 8am. The trip will be led by Rasita Sinekiem, a lecturer on the history of art and architecture, and Pitirat Yoswattana, a freelance architect, artist and author of Bangkok Old Town Through Sketches, which compiles a collection of her colourised works.
