Iconsiam continues the tradition of Thai heritage preservation through a series of performances and culturally inspired activities during Iconsiam The Iconic Songkran Festival 2021 , which will take place at Charoen Nakhon Hall from tomorrow until April 18.
Visitors are invited to pay respect to Buddha relics on loan from Wat Yannawa in Bangkok and replicas of Buddha images from Wat Sothon Wararam in Chachoengsao, Wat Phra Singh in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Wat Pho Chai in Nong Khai as well as Phra Chiang Saen from Chiang Mai.
The opening ceremony will take place on April 12 and will feature the appearance of actress Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul as Miss Songkran. She will be donned in traditional Thai costumes with accessories curated by craft master Weeratham Trakulngernthai.
