Supplied: DWS South Africa will have a water supply deficit that may be as much as 3.8 billion cubic metres in 2030 if urgent measures are not put in place now, writes  Shiven Sukraj. South Africa is facing a deepening water crisis. Unless urgent, decisive steps are taken now, it is predicted that by 2030 the country s demand for water will exceed the available water supply by 17%.
