Residential waste collection changes coming to Wetaskiwin in 2021

Author of the article: City of Wetaskiwin Publishing date: Dec 16, 2020  •  December 16, 2020  •  1 minute read  •  Article content Wetaskiwin City Council approved an amendment to Waste Management Bylaw 1940-20 following a presentation by the City’s Waste & Recycle department. As a result, solid waste collection will be moving to a five-day schedule (Monday to Friday) by the second quarter of 2021. The waste collection date will remain the same for most City residents. Some addresses on the Tuesday and Friday routes will be moved to the new Monday pick-up route and affected customers will be notified prior to the switch.
