painted him out to be, and it was scary. i was able to make friends, acquaintances in jail and i played spades, card games with them. tucker: amazing. so you re in jail for 87 days. do off sense of how your case is being talked about in the outside world? not really when i m in jail but once i am bailed out john pierce said i was an unorganized militia, which was just blatantly false. i didn t know what a militia was. tucker: your lawyer said you were a militia? i didn t know what militia was until after november 25, when i was watching some of the interviews. i m not in a militia. i don t know what that is. tucker: sorry to laugh. i was like, what the heck, and i m like, no wonder people are saying i m in a militia. it s because he painted that
of the mob mentality. and they were like, oh, yes, we re just going to arrest him even though there were videos already out showing me being attacked and having to defends myself. tucker: so when was it that you were arrested? i was arrested on august 25 at around 6:00 a.m. i was formally arrested without a criminal complaint being drafted. they didn t know what they were charging me with yet. they just arrested me. tucker: at home? at the antioch police department. tucker: what did your parents say when you called them and told them what happened? i didn t call my mom after i saw her. she was in shock. she was like, she wanted to go into hiding. i said no, right thing to do would be to turn myself in. i didn t do anything wrong. tucker: so you knew that from the very beginning? i knew that. allot of people were like, oh, kyle had time to meet with his attorneys to come up with this amazing defense, self-defense, no, that s not the case. this has been a hundred percent
