it. brought it on yourself. all right, moving on now. a washington state third grader who accidentally shot a classmate has now written a pretty striking letter of apology to her. amina bowman nearly died that february day. but this week, she finally left the hospital. and there s hope that the letter will help heal both of if children. absolutely. keith eldridge of our seattle station komo has more. reporter: dear amina. i m sorry i hurt you because i brought a gun to school. i did not mean for anybody to get hurt. so begins the letter written by the third grade boy who had a gun in his back pac go off, striking bowman. he was ordered to write the letter by the court but it was a real good thing for him when he did it. why is that? he has guilt over what happened to amina. he never intended that to happen. reporter: the boy goes on to say, i wish no one got hurt. i wish you were out of the hospital playing basketball and going back to school. part of that wish ca
