“High-profile Republican members of Congress gained tens of thousands of Twitter followers in the first few weeks of Elon Musk’s reign over the social media network, while their Democratic counterparts experienced a decline,” the Washington Post reports.
trump is nothing if not an unconventional politician and president. jon: and the polls have been wrong before. they were very wrong in 2016. absolutely because the other thing we now know is that there is this phenomenon and factor called the trump shy voter, that is somebody who basically agrees with a lot of what donald trump says and even more with what he does, even more with a strong booming economy, but is embarrassed or shy or reluctant to tell his friends or her friends that they re voting for donald trump. that s 3 to 5 percent, in the last election which means if that s repeated in the midterms, a lot of the projections that we re seeing and the predictions of a blue wave could be totally wrong. jon: yeah. republican congressman of arizona andy biggs was won with fox news earlier, said he thinks that he sees republicans coming
used the new rhyming slogan he s been working into the rallies. that he thinks democrats create mobs and republicans create jobs. and he called the democratic candidate challenging senator heller jackie rosen whacky jackie. her next chance to respond will be on monday when barack obama comes to las vegas to hold a rally for her. jon? jon: so why is the president terminating a nuclear treaty with russia, peter? he s saying now that russia is not living up to their end of the bargain in this treaty. so this agreement that restricts the number of nuclear missiles each country can have is about to lose the u.s. russia has violated the agreement. they ve been violating it for many years. and i don t know why president obama didn t negotiate or pull out. and we re not going to let them violate a nuclear agreement and go out and do weapons and we re
home, but there s a bit of worry there. listen. i do worry about that. i m a big believer that you make a promise, you keep the promise. you don t keep the promise, then people will make you pay. but i think that a lot of the republicans when they are going to come back home because they are going to say well the alternative is even worse. jon: i mean the president has been out there in those three states pushing for republican candidates, and the crowds frankly judy have been huge. yes, they have been, but donald trump is always great at rallies. he always draws huge crowds. but what we don t know, jon, is whose base is more energized by the donald trump presidency? is it the republican base? or is it the democratic anti-trump base? and we re really not going to know that unless we see that the predictions of huge turnouts. what people are saying now is there could be turnouts of 50%
