Fox “News’” new Washington, D.C. editor, Kerri Kupec, a Trump DOJ spokesperson whose only experience with news is spinning it, is the network’s most blatant acknowledgment yet that it prioritizes Trumpy propaganda over news.
As The Washington Post’s Jeremy Barr tweeted yesterday, Kupec was the DOJ spokesperson under Bill Barr and she was the spokesperson for now-Supreme Court Justice Brett (I like beer!) Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
Kerri Kupec, who served as Bill Barr s DOJ spokesperson and ran comms for the Kavanaugh nomination, will be the Fox News Channel s Washington editor. Cheers erupted outside the courthouse in Minneapolis as the jury returned their decision: former police officer Derek Chauvin found guilty of the murder of George Floyd.
The Telegraph s Washington Editor, Rozina Sabur, was on the ground outside the courthouse as America watched the pivotal case for race relations and police accountability in the country.
Hundreds gathered to celebrate the guilty verdict on three charges, after the video showing Mr Chauvin kneeling on Mr Floyd s neck for more than nine minutes shocked the world last May.

Closing arguments are underway in the trial of the white ex-police officer accused of murdering African-American George Floyd, a case that laid bare racial wounds in the United States and has come to be seen as a pivotal test of police accountability.
Derek Chauvin, a 19-year veteran of the Minneapolis Police Department, faces a maximum of 40 years in prison if convicted of the most serious charge - second-degree murder.
