MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – The Hyundai Air & Sea Show is back in Miami Beach this Memorial Day weekend, paying tribute to those in our armed forces and military who have paid the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of our freedom.
The main component of the National Salute to America’s Heroes is the popular Air & Sea Show. Here’s what you need to know if you plan to go.
WHAT IS THE AIR & SEA SHOW?
Sentinel Real Estate Corporation announced the $96.57 million acquisition of a 452-unit multifamily portfolio in Miami, Florida.
The portfolio comprises a total of 30 individual properties – 25 of which are located in the heart of South Beach, with the other five located in the coveted submarket of Bay Harbor in North Miami Beach.
The acquisition marks the trade of the largest portfolio of rental apartments to be offered in the region. Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, Boardwalk Properties, in the transaction.

Located between 7th and 16th Streets, the South Beach properties are within walking distance to some of the most sought-after attractions in South Beach, including Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive, Collins and Washington Avenues, and the Miami Beach Convention Center. The historically protected neighborhood has a significantly constrained rental market, due to the high conversion rate of apartment buildings to condominiums.
Midtown Has Been Empty, but Other Retail Zones Have Bounced Back

All eyes are on Midtown Manhattan as everyone anxiously waits to see if and when office workers and tourists will return to what have been eerily empty streets and whether the businesses that line them will regain customers lost during the pandemic.
But other retail corridors across New York are also important barometers of the city’s economy, as well as key to its recovery; a survey of five of them, one in each borough, showed signs of resilience.

For the first time in over a month, there won t be an 8 p.m. curfew tonight in Miami Beach s Entertainment District. But Vice Mayor Michael Gongora says the restaurants along Ocean Drive and Collins and Washington Avenues will have to bring their outdoor tables in by 8 tonight. The area does remain under Miami-Dade s midnight curfew which expires Monday. Commissioners are meeting later this month to figure out the best way to transform the Entertainment District into a high-end Cultural Arts area.
