and telling race here is virginia. chris christie is a phenomena. but what is going on in virginia is really interesting. frankly, you have a democrat opening up a 10 point advantage in a state that for years has been a lot more red than it has blue. you look at the wosh wo washing post poll on this, the voters were angry at the republican party for closing down congress. i think this is where we see what happening in washington begins to affect what s going on in other states. but even before was down. it was where the shutdown. i think christie is not just a regular incumbent. i think he is a pretty special case. he s in a blue state. he s going to win a second term with 25 to 30 points. he didn t have a terrible democratic candidate. he just happens to be a real singular politician in this country right now. i think the presidential aspirations aside, it s going to be a very impressive election
