CA upholds PhilHealth fine, suspension vs hospital

MANILA The Court of Appeals (CA) has turned down Cardinal Santos Medical Center's motion questioning a fine of PHP10,000 and a three-month suspension by the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) on the hospital. In a resolution dated Jan. 11, 2023, the appellate court denied for lack of merit the motion for reconsideration filed by the hospital questioning an earlier CA decision issued in May last year affirming the fine and three-month suspension by PhilHealth on the hospital for the administrative offense of filing multiple claims.
