Welcome back to nbcs special coverage of the nevada caucuses. The projected winner is vermont senator Bernie Sanders. Sanders leads the rest of the field by more than 20 points. He has bested joe biden by double. Former Vice President joe biden in second place, a distant second at the moment. Pete buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar, tom steyer is in there. Senator sanders has claimed 13 delegates. Nobody has been awarded any delegates other than Bernie Sanders just yet. 36 in total. Sanders has 13 of them at the moment. That means sanders has opened up a double digit delegate lead over Pete Buttigieg in the National Delegate count. He enjoyed the victory from san antonio, texas, where he had a Campaign Rally tonight. In nevada we have just put together a multiagagenerationa multiracial win which is going to win nevada and sweep this country. No campaign has a Grassroots Movement like we do, which is another reason why were going o win this election. Okay. Lots to unpack here. J
