Warren is the epitome of a selfless human being, always putting others’ needs ahead of his own, working two jobs and having raised a son by himself. Having a Mennonite influence and a family that has been active in missionary work, Warren has spent much of his adult life in the service of others and his community.

Warren has lived in Devon for many years where he served as a leader in Devon’s Cubs and Scouts while his son was growing up. He says the community has helped him a great deal. He also organized a seniors’ community summer barbecue for the residents of Cottage Courts where he brought all his own equipment including tables and BBQ, cooked and cleaned up.
